This is a novelty computer case for the Framework Laptop 12 that has the airflow come in through the trap, and has the flush lever act as a power button. Otherwise, it looks like a rather normal toilet, with a few extra grilles here and there. The case provides a secondary air intake at the front that draws air over the bottom of the mainboard PCB to keep other components cool in addition to the CPU. There's no room for Framework USB-C expansion cards, alas, because I sized it to fit on a 250mm bed. Parts required: - 2x 608 bearings - 1x GT2 belt around 50cm long - 9x Voron style M3 heatset inserts - 3x 20mm M3 screws for the tank - 3x 10mm M3 screws for the base - 1.75mm filament for the lid hinges Recommended print settings: This is HIGHLY warp sensitive, so I used 2 walls, max of 4 top layers, and Hilbert infill at 15% to minimize internal stresses. It was tough to print in ASA on my Core One, but I got it done. Assembly: - Install heatset inserts on the Bowl, 3x top and 6x bottom. - Use 3x 20mm M3 screws to attach the Tank to the top of the bowl. - Install one 608 bearing in the right side bearing slot of the tank. - Install one 608 bearing and press-fit the Lift Arm on the long end of the Axle. The tab on the lift arm should face towards the axle. - Insert the short end of the axle through the bearing already installed in the tank. - Press-fit the lever onto the protruding end of the axle. - Clip the Belt Idler into the back side of the slot on the bottom of the bowl. This may be a little fiddly, it relies on the flexing of the two arms. See the cross sectional diagram for the orientation. - Slide one end of the GT2 belt into the Button Presser. - Insert the Button Presser into the front of the slot on the bottom of the bowl, and drop the other end of the belt over the belt idler into the tank. - Grab the free end of the belt and slot it into the lift arm with a small amount of slack. Trim the belt short (it doesn't have to be flush). - Punch through the sacrificial bridges on the Base with a small screwdriver. - Insert the mainboard into the base. I may revise the design in the future to have m2 heat set inserts to secure once I get my hands on an actual mainboard. - I may also revise the design to accommodate a small wifi patch antenna and its cable. - Holding the button presser in its slot, tip the bowl onto the base, then carefully flip it over and use 6x 10mm M3 screws to attach the base to the bowl. - Place the whole toilet on the base, and pre-install excess lengths of filament into the Seat Lid hinge holes, stopping on the inside face. You may need to use a drill bit to gently open up the hinge holes. - Place the seat lid on the bowl and insert the hinge filament into the bowl's hinge holes, stopping on the inside face. - Lift the seat lid and place the Seat on the bowl, then insert the hinge filament all the way to just past the inside of the seat's hinge holes (to ease removal) and trim the outside tails flush with the seat lid. - Place the Tank Lid on the tank and enjoy!
