Note 9/10/26: : Sorry guys! After printing the mainboard and doing some assembly, I found a few parts with fitting issues. I’ve updated those parts, so the revised versions will be labeled 002 and above . Hey guys, long story short, my main inspiration for this design came from a picture of a guy wearing AR glasses and using a controller to play on his Legion Go. I've always wanted something like that myself. I imagined using it with XREAL Air glasses and a pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers, using the gyro as a mouse. Something like the image below. So, for this design, I wanted to make a techy, futuristic mini PC case that lets you showcase the beautiful design of the Framework 12 mainboard at the front, whether you're using it on a desk or as wearable. And since it's wearable, I also wanted it to be able to carry some extra accessories, such as a battery, USB hub, SSD, etc. So I designed the back to be customizable, allowing you to attach whatever accessories you like. On top of that, I designed it with minimal support use in mind. All parts can simply be laid flat, and the largest piece is only 23 cm wide, so it should fit most medium-sized 3D printers. One thing to note when printing: most parts currently have zero tolerance , so please use the most precise material you have. I'm using Timory Matte PETG and PETG-GF. The glass part is 1.5 mm thick. You can either print it or cut a piece of acrylic of the same thickness. You'll also need some heat-set inserts and screws: - Heat-set inserts: 3.5 × 5 × 3 mm × 22 - Insert screws: m3 x 10 mm + 15 mm × 1 each - m3 × 6 mm screws: × 13 - m3 × 8 mm screws: × 12 - m3 × 10 mm screws: × 4 - m3 × 14 mm screws: × 10 - Phillips 2 × 3 mm screws: × 10 i will leave it here for now and make assembly guide some time later cheer :D
