Turn your Framework Laptop 12 Mainboard into the ultimate "GPU powerhouse" with this custom case designed to look just like an NVIDIA RTX 5090! Perfect for showing off your tech humor while giving your mainboard a sleek, desktop-grade enclosure. Printing Materials All parts can be printed using your material of choice, such as PLA, PETG , or any other filament you prefer. (Note: Printing the feet in TPU is recommended for better grip). Hardware & Bill of Materials (BOM) To assemble this case securely, you will need heat-set inserts and countersunk screws. - Screws Required: - 4x M3 Countersunk screws (35mm length) – For securing the main body halves. - 4x M3 Countersunk screws (10mm length) – For assembling secondary structural points ( Black_cover_1 and Black_cover_2 pieces). - 4x M1.6 Countersunk Screws (20mm length) – Specifically used to firmly secure the Framework Laptop 12 Mainboard and the case feet all together in a single integrated setup. - Threaded Heat-Set Inserts: - 4 x M3 Inserts for the main 35mm screws (inside the corners of Down_case_1 and Down_case_2 ) - 4 x M3 Inserts for the 10mm screws (inside Up_case_1 and Up_case_2 ) - 4 x M1.6 Inserts for the 1.6mm screws (inside feet ) Assembly Steps - Install the heat-set inserts into their respective holes using a soldering iron. The M3 heat-set inserts inside the corners of Down_case_1 and Down_case_2 ... ...and inside the bottom of Up_case_1 and Up_case_2. Install the M1.6 heat-set inserts inside feet - Align the Framework 12 Mainboard inside the enclosure as down below in the figure, and use the M1.6 screws to fix all together. - Fasten the Up_case_1 and Up_case_2 and other pieces using the 4 x M4 screws ( 35mm) ... - ...and 4 x M4 screws ( 10mm) countersunk screws to fix Black_cover_1 and Black_cover_2 . - Finally, put Button inside his hole and Fans into their places (if you want you can fix them with some glue).
