MEASURING TIPS Measure the outside diameter of a round tube. For a square or rectangular profile, measure its outside width and height. Add suitable clearance so the tube can enter the socket without excessive force. Required clearance depends on the printer, filament, layer orientation and dimensional accuracy. Choose enough insertion depth to keep the connected tubes aligned. If retaining screws are used, confirm that their positions reach the inserted profiles without weakening the connector wall. PRINTING AND SAFETY PLA can be suitable for prototypes and light indoor constructions. PETG provides greater toughness for many workshop applications, while ASA may be preferable for outdoor use because of its improved weather and UV resistance. Print a test socket before producing an entire connector set. Verify dimensions, wall thickness, print orientation and screw-hole strength. These connectors have no certified load rating. They are not intended for climbing equipment, guard rails, overhead loads, safety barriers, pressurized plumbing, gas systems or structures whose failure could cause injury or substantial property damage.
