Hey, I'm Foxwood! If you like my work, be sure to follow me for more design in the future! Foxwood Modular Lamp System I’ve wanted to make a fully modular lamp system for a while. I’ve had a few attempts at it in the past, but I’ve finally come up with something I’m really happy with. This is also my 4th generation of lamps on MakerWorld, and over the years I’ve learnt a lot from designing, printing and testing them, as well as from all the feedback I’ve received. The result is what I hope will be my ultimate lamp system. And this is only the beginning. I plan to release more designs for the system in the future, including a few old favourites as well as plenty of new designs. The Modular System The Foxwood Modular Lamp System is built around three core elements: Base Shade Light Module The idea is simple: mix and match the three elements to create different lamp combinations. As the range grows, you’ll be able to combine different bases, shades and light modules to create your own configurations. The Light Module is designed to accommodate different lighting options, including Bambu Lab LED kits, E14 bulbs and E27 bulbs. Please note: the download on this listing uses the Bambu Lab LED Light Module as the standard option. If you’d like to use an E14 or E27 bulb instead, you can find the alternative Light Modules here. The First Design — Kumiko The first lamp in the range had to be a Kumiko lamp! Kumiko is a traditional Japanese woodworking technique that creates intricate geometric patterns from small pieces of wood, without the use of nails or screws. I’ve always loved the look of these patterns, and they’ve become a bit of a signature of my lamp designs. This version brings that aesthetic into the new modular system as the first of what I hope will become a much larger collection.
