Corner pieces, handles, and hinges for making insect screens from aluminum profile Various parts for the aluminum insect screen profile available at most hardware stores in the Netherlands (Europe). See the dimensions in the cross-section image. The wall thickness is 1 mm. The visible width of the frame is 25 mm. Print four corner pieces to make a square insect screen. The hinges are fitted with a 35 mm long piece of (spring) steel with a 4 mm diameter. It locks into place in one half and rotates freely in the other. The hinges can also be taken apart so that the screen can be removed. At the bottom, I mounted a handle and two metal plates for the magnetic latches.
