Garden Environment Sensor Based on D1 Mini This project is a custom-built environmental sensor using an Arduino D1 Mini, designed to monitor temperature, humidity, and air pressure in a garden—especially to track how low the temperature drops at night, which is important for protecting sensitive plants. The sensor connects to a Google Sheets document every 10 minutes, where it logs the current sensor data. The sheet can be downloaded and installed for personal use. To prevent excessive data accumulation, all entries are automatically deleted after three days. Power is supplied via a power bank. However, because the D1 Mini consumes very little power, the power bank tends to shut off. To prevent this, four 200-ohm resistors are connected in parallel to create a constant current draw, keeping the power bank active. 🛠 How to Set It Up Download the Excel file and open it in GOOGLE SHEETS to log the sensor data. Open the spreadsheet and go to Extensions → Apps Script. Paste the provided Google Apps Script code into the editor. Publish the script as a web app (you’ll be prompted to authorize permissions). After publishing, copy the generated Web App URL. Paste this URL into your Arduino sketch, so the D1 Mini knows where to send the data.
