The Design Yes it's just a rod!. This is a simple fun toy to fidget with as a replacement for a pen in your hand. Whenever i absent mindedly fidget with my pen whilst working, i end up drawing on my hand and occasionally my clothes! Tired of this i've made this simple design to replace the pen whilst i'm thinking. It's slightly larger with slightly more weight (100% infill). Easy to alter the dimensions with scale too. Great for using up any spare ends of filament The design is an octagonal shaft, There's two versions in the file - 1 has chamfered ends, the other other doesn't. Personally i prefere wiithout the chamfered ends. If you find the size isn't quite right use the scale setting in Bambu studio to adjust Printing 100% infill to ensure it has a bit of weight to it. Ironing for a good top surface Standard settings should work fine to slice. Make sure your filament setting are dialed in to get the best finished as 100% infill pushes any problems to the surfaces. My Work After many years in Engineering, I've just decided to try and follow my childhood dream of becoming of a Creative Designer. A Creative Designer of what? No idea! Right now I really like puzzles, mechanisms and kinetic sculptures so that's where I'm going to focus my efforts.
