The Design After something new? Here's the Vortex Spiral Compatible with the rest of the V3 Series, this design features a single spiral There's two variants, a slightly taller (100mm / 4 inches) and slightly shorter version (83mm / 3 inches). Let me know if you experience any issues. If you enjoy this print consider giving it a boost (It'd really help me out!) Boost Me (for free) Never Needed, Always Appreciated! Boost Printing The setting in the print profile have been tested extensively to give the best result. However the underside of the spiral may still need to be cleaned up and smoothed slightly I like pushing designs to what the printers are capable of. If your having issues, let me know i will try and help. The easiest was to do this is to run another inner part from the same series (with a flat base) The Ball prints over a disc - this allows it to float, the disc is no needed. Once printed let the build plate cool before trying to remove. My Work After many years in Engineering, I've decided to try and follow my childhood dream of becoming of a Creative Designer. A Creative Designer of what? No idea! Right now I really like puzzles, mechanisms and kinetic sculptures so that's where I'm going to focus my efforts.
