Beskrivelse
I don't charge for my functional models. Please consider purchasing some of my paid models as a way to support both my work, and this great website: https://www.printables.com/@ninjamida/store I wasn't completely happy with any of the existing printable fan covers that I'm aware of, so I made my own. This has specifically been developed and tested with a modified top cover (but the stock hotend and hotend mount), not the stock one. That being said - other fan covers and the stock fan cover fit fine with said top cover, so I would expect this fan cover to work fine with the stock top cover too. This is not intended to be, and almost certianly will not be, compatible with the Ender 3 hotend mod. It's for the stock hotend. It should be fine with any modified hotend that can still use the stock fan cover. My print settings: - Material: ABS or PA-CF (ABS used for testing / development, PA-CF used for final version) - Nozzle: 0.4mm - Layer height: 0.16mm, first layer 0.24mm - Line widths: 0.5mm first layer, 0.45mm outer wall, 0.42mm top surface, 0.48mm all others - Speed: 75mm/s (ABS) or 50mm/s (PA-CF) - Brim: Inner+outer, 4mm width, 0.025mm gap - Supports: Not required - Orientation: As in the STEP file (face down) Assembly: - Remove brim from new cover - Remove PCB and fan from your current fan cover (or purchase a spare of each - note that many listings appear to not include the screws for the PCB) - Insert fan into new cover - Use screws to secure PCB into new cover FreeCAD source file included. It's a bit of a mess, as always for me. It includes some other things I tried with the ducts, including one ("Rev2") that, while not of practical use as a fan cover, has some interesting airflow behavior. First photo is PA-CF, second photo is ABS version (second-to-final) being used to print the PA-CF version, third photo is various test / development prints (all ABS; the partly-black one was the result of a filament chicken failure and having no more black ABS on hand).
