Contour Lamp Prints in three pieces on two plates. Everything is held in place by friction, although you may want a dab of glue on the top piece of the inner ring if you're worried. It will require a moment of wrestling to get the inner ring put inside. I preferred having one (visible) piece for the inner ring rather than cutting it into pieces to make installation easier. It should only take 60 seconds to put it into place and it's done. The outer ring uses supports, but supports only contact the model in places that will be covered up. You may need to take a moment to ensure you get all the supports out of the channel for the wire. The inner ring needs to have excellent adhesion to avoid warping. I used the CoolTack plate with good success, minor shrinkage but not noticeable on the final product, unless examined closely. I created an additional plate in the profile which places a brim around to hold it to the bed. For the ‘wood’ I used the Polymaker wood gradient, which isn't a filament I originally loved but works nicely for this model. The rest are all Bambu filaments listed here. For the ‘wood’ model I used a small application of fuzzy skin on the outside only to give it a fine texture that really makes it look like wood. There are two plates, one for a smooth model and one for the ‘wood’ model. I look forward to seeing some other color combinations, please post pictures if you do, would love to see.
