That's when I came up with the idea of using an N20 motor and a LiPo battery to bring the propeller to life. Since I didn't want to be stuck with just one single hat, I modeled everything to be as compact as possible so it can easily fit onto any cap. To figure out how to mount it without damaging the hat or messing around with heavy magnets, I came up with a spring-loaded clamp system. It uses standard bobblehead springs at the base to pinch the two parts of the mount right around that little button on the very top of the cap. Hardware You'll Need: - Motor: N20 Micro DC Gear Motor (I used the 3V 100 RPM version) - Battery: 1S LiPo Battery, model 502030 (fits perfectly inside the case) - Switch: SS12D00 Slide Switch You can use with the sphere to cover the n20 motor or without it. I think it looks really cool with the motor showing up. I'm currently waiting for the parts I ordered to arrive so I can put everything together and record a video of it working—I'll update the project here soon.
