The M1070 HET Tractor 8x8 is a heavy-duty military transport vehicle designed as the tractor unit of the Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) system, used for moving main battle tanks, armored vehicles and other heavy military equipment. This version represents the M1070 HET tractor configuration and includes the distinctive heavy-duty cab, multi-axle chassis, rear fifth-wheel coupling area, winch equipment, fuel tanks, wheels, storage and mechanical components, mirrors, lights, steps, mudguards and other main exterior features associated with the M1070 platform. Used by the US Army, the M1070 serves as the tractor component of the HET system and is commonly associated with the transport of heavy tracked vehicles such as the M1 Abrams main battle tank. Its powerful 8x8 configuration and specialized heavy-haul equipment make it one of the most recognizable modern military tank transporter tractors. The model is designed primarily for HO 1/87 scale, with scale-appropriate details suitable for miniature printing. It is intended for military logistics scenes, heavy equipment transport dioramas, tank transporter displays, motor pools, convoy layouts and modern US Army vehicle collections. Scale Information The model is designed at HO 1/87 scale and should be printed at 100% size. For other scales, apply the following uniform scaling percentages: 1/87 scale — 100% 1/72 scale — 120.8% 1/64 scale — 135.9% 1/48 scale — 181.3% 1/35 scale — 248.6% Scale all parts by the same percentage to preserve correct fit and proportions. Very small components may require additional adjustment depending on the selected scale, printer resolution, nozzle diameter and printing material.
