I designed a cute, flexi head Spider-Man that uses springs made from simple filament, so you don’t need any hardware. These springs make this miniature flexible, playful, and fun to fidget with in your hands. Make sure your filament is dry to prevent the springs from fracturing. You will need a gas lighter to preheat the spring after coiling it. This will help preserve the shape of the spring and give it much greater stiffness. Find here additional tutorial for this process:
