Altyn/Rys-T ⚠️ Heads up: This is a protective helmet for airsoft and gelsoft. It's built to keep BBs and gel balls off your head, face and ears — nothing more. It is not ballistic or combat-grade gear and will not stop firearms. About: The "Altyn/Rys-T" is a printable version of the classic Special Forces assault helmet featuring full face protection: a one-piece shell and face shield that cover the areas left exposed by standard lightweight helmets. It even includes a transparent PET visor! Project files: Everything is free. Grab the archives from the Files tab — they're packed as complete projects so you don't have to hunt for loose parts. Inside you'll find: STL files , ready to print Assembly manual with step-by-step instructions Visor template to manually cut the transparent visor from a 2mm PET sheet Versions: The helmet comes in two versions, and all of them are completely free — no paid packs, nothing locked behind a paywall: Altyn — the classic version Rys-T — the modernized version Pick whichever fits your loadout and print it. Printing recommendations: For enough strength and protection, print with a minimum wall thickness of 2mm or more. Works well in PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA. For the face shield, you will need a piece of 2mm PET sheet to cut out the visor using the template provided in the project files. Live-fire test: The helmet was tested with a shot from an RX AK-102 replica at 80 m/s from 20cm away. No penetration, no cracking — held up fine.
