My son wanted me to create a backdrop for taking photos of his Marvel Legends figures, so this is what I came up with. To create the façade, I used a reference photo of a New York City laundromat. Width & height is 13" so that it would fit nicely in an Ikea Kallax shelving unit. I would suggest taking a little more time with the assembly than I did. I shouldn't have but I rushed it to get it completed before he got home from work. The security shutters on the front windows can be raised and lowered. All the glass was printed in translucent PLA to leave a lighting option open. The left & right store front components are held together by the door alcove. The first and second floors are connected by the laundromat sign. I left the door glass until last to allow me to get quick clamps through the door to bring everything tightly together while the CA glue was drying.
