I wanted to upgrade the mechanical finger and made a wireless version of it, simply remixed the mechanical version and added room for servo and a esp32 microcontroller. So, with this version you can control it with your phone using an app. It is also possible to add sensors to give it more functions. I have added an ultrasonic sensor HCSR04 which makes the middle finger move automatically as soon as an object gets closer than 20cm, you can adjust the distance as you like and put it on back of your car, or sides. I am planning to turn this project into a product later. I want to make it waterproof, create a real mobile app in appstores and add more features. Imagine it sits on your desk and gives you a middle finger everytime you receive a mail at work, and stays up till you read it, or gives middle finger to the cars tailgating you, or use it as your doorbell and so on. I am completely open for any suggestions you have. Feel free to contact or leave them as comments. I know this is a goofy project, but I think it is funny and “functional” if used properly. A crowdfunding on Makerworld would be amazing to turn this project into a product that everyone can easily print and assemble using Maker's supply. One can only hope :)
