The idea is simple: avoid AMS and reduce filament waste by offering multi-part models so everyone can choose their own colors using a single-extruder printer, with no purge tower and no forced material changes. Each piece is designed to be easy to print, assemble, and customize to match your own style. New versions of the ZKULL Edition will be released regularly, feel free to share your ideas! Urban Baseball Crew (EDITION ZKULL #8) Important information: To achieve the jacket’s visual effect as shown in the photo, you must keep the “Irregular Surface Paint” option enabled in the model settings. Use the following parameters: – Point distance: 0.8 mm – Irregular surface thickness: 0.3 mm Summary Model designed in multiple parts, assembled using friction-fit connectors. The pieces will fit together (glue may be necessary) as long as your material tolerances and printer calibration are accurate. The provided files already include optimized orientations (for supports and positioning) — do not reorient the parts unless you know exactly what you’re doing. Printing Instructions Keep the provided parameters: the Bambu Lab / Bambu Studio profiles included in the archive have been tested specifically for this model and can be used as-is for reliable printing. Orientation & Supports All parts are positioned in the files to minimize supports and simplify post-processing. Do not globally reorient the parts; if you modify one, always verify how it affects support generation. Assembly – Recommended Method Dry-fit first: Assemble all pieces without glue to check alignment and tolerances. Cleanup: Deburr or lightly sand edges and pegs with a file or hobby tool for a smooth fit. Fine adjustments: Too tight → very light sanding (grit 200–400). Too loose → apply a thin strip of PLA/PTFE tape on the peg, or add a small drop of glue. Optional gluing: Use cyanoacrylate (CA) glue for permanent joints. Small parts (buttons, trims): Depending on your printer’s precision, you may need to glue very small details for proper stability. Back patch / logo: It is recommended to glue the rear emblem firmly for long-term durability. Final check: Verify pattern alignment and mobility (if any parts are movable). ⚠️ Additional note for this model (logos) Two logos are included: One convex version for the cap, One flat version for the jacket. I recommend gluing both logos. For optimal fit depending on the surface curve (more or less convex), gently heat the logo so it can adapt and perfectly match the surface shape. Recommended Print Settings Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm (use 0.12 mm for fine details) Perimeters (walls): 2–3 Infill: 10–20% (increase for load-bearing parts) Top/bottom layers: 4 Supports: Use the provided orientations — Bambu Studio / included profiles handle them efficiently Bed adhesion: Use a skirt if contact surfaces are small Temperatures: Keep default profile values or adjust to match your filament Additional Gluing Guidelines Each piece can be glued for long-term stability, or left unglued if you plan to swap color variations. However, it is strongly recommended to glue the black eye inserts and the nose, as these are the only parts not designed with friction tolerances. Specific Notes & Best Practices Tolerances vary depending on filament — always test on your target printer. Do not glue immediately — always prefer a dry-fit first to allow adjustments and color swapping.
