Meet Cirkit Pods – cylinder-shaped containers with stackable, screw-on segments that let you create the perfect storage solution for all kinds of items, from tiny electronics to craft supplies and tools. Not only are they functional, but Cirkit Pods also look great as decorative pieces, bringing both style and organization to any space. With Cirkit Pods, you’re in complete control. Customize the size, style, dimensions, texture, and more to make each pod exactly how you want it. Build a compact, single-container setup, or stack taller segments for added storage. Click on Customize to get started. 1. Designing Your Pod Cirkit Pods are set up with global parameters for overall dimensions and style, as well as model-specific parameters for each component. This allows you to customize individual parts while keeping the pod cohesive. You can also toggle the rendering of specific models if you don’t need them. To optimize performance during design, adjust the Render settings by increasing the face angle or face size to reduce smoothness while tweaking your design. Once you're satisfied, revert to higher quality settings before downloading. Debug mode can be useful for checking dimensions. For threads, you can choose between a regular thread or a blunt start. Printing test connectors can help ensure the fit matches your preference. If needed, adjust the slop parameter for a more precise fit, though the default settings work well in most cases. For sizing, you’re free to set any dimensions you like, or you can start with one of these presets: Small: 40mm inner diameter, 2.2mm wall, 3.4mm base, inner rounding 4mm Medium: 60mm inner diameter, 2.4mm wall, 3.6mm base, inner rounding 5mm Large: 80mm inner diameter, 2.6mm wall, 3.8mm base, inner rounding 6mm These presets provide a solid starting point. 2. Printing Your Pod Before printing, inspect your design in your slicer software to ensure all parts are as expected. Choose a print profile that balances quality and speed based on your needs. For the center divider model, consider using minimal tree supports for the bottom part. Once printed, let the Pods cool down before assembly; this will help the threads fit together smoothly.
