Pocket Tome: NFC Keychain Unlock a new chapter in personalized accessories with the "Pocket Tome" NFC Keychain! This miniature book keychain isn't just an accessory; it conceals a compartment for a 25mm NFC tag inside. This project marks the beginning of a collaboration series between Collecticraft and xTool, designed to showcase the creative synergy between 3D printing and the precision of the xTool F1 laser engraver. To make printing and customization easier, this project includes 4 .3mf print profiles and 6 pre-made .xcs laser engraving files featuring popular book titles! Printable Without a Laser: You do not need a laser engraver for this project. The keychain prints well on standard 3D printers. The cover can be left blank, painted, or customized by other methods if you don't have a laser. Key Features: Mini Book Keychain Design Internal Holder for 25mm NFC Tag (Tag not included) Cover Ready for Laser Engraving (Optimized for xTool F1) 4 Optimized Print Profiles (.3mf) Included 6 Pre-Made Laser Files (.xcs) Included (Titles listed below) Fine Detail Option: Profiles use 0.08mm layer height for page edges. Required Materials: Filament (PLA/PETG suggested) 25mm NFC Tag Keychain Ring Glue (Superglue or epoxy suggested) Optional: xTool F1 Laser Engraver (or similar) Printing Recommendations: Use Provided Print Profiles: For best results, use one of the 4 included .3mf files. Layer Height: Profiles utilize 0.08mm layer height for the side 'page' sections. Settings: Profiles are configured for 0.4mm nozzle, PLA/PETG, 15-20% infill, and no supports. Brim: Optional (check profile settings). Always test engraving settings on scrap material matching your keychain cover before engraving the final print. Adjust power/speed in the .xcs files as needed. Assembly: Print the two halves using a provided .3mf profile. Place the 25mm NFC tag in the internal slot. Apply glue to the inner joining surfaces. Carefully align and press the halves together firmly until the glue sets. Attach a keychain ring to the loop. Program the NFC tag using a smartphone app. Commercial License: This download includes a non-commercial license for personal use.
