Spiral of Theodorus layered wall art. Also known as the square root spiral or Pythagorean spiral, the diagonal of each nth rectangle has a length of the square root of n. The edge of each rectangle in this print is 50mm long so the diagonals are actually the square root on n * 50. Each panel prints with no top or bottom layers to expose the infill pattern and panel behind. More info can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiral_of_Theodorus Printing Each panel prints on its own plate to allow for the ten colors used here, but this could also be printed in a single color. Print the plate 1 first to have the pin available. Next print plate 10 followed by 9, 8, etc. as this is the order they are added. Only one of the two part 7 versions (green) is needed. I used clear adhesive poster dots to mount this to my wall, but there is an optional version of part 7 that includes an extra loop for hanging on a nail or similar. As each panel is thin (1mm), please allow each to cool for a bit to prevent warping when removing. Assembly Starting with the pin, add rectangular panel 10 oriented with its loop in the lower left corner. Press gently around the loop to slide it onto and down to the bottom of the pin. Add panel 9 on top, again with the loop in the lower left , and its upper right corner aligned with the lower right corner of the previous panel added. Repeat for the remaining panels. This becomes easier after the first two, but hopefully the photos help get the idea.
