As someone who has worked on several Kumiko designs, I knew when I read about this new contest that I had to incorporate this style once again for my entry. Featuring a Kumiko-patterned base, this design pays homage to the intricate wooden latticework that has been a staple of Japanese architecture for centuries. The Kumiko pattern, known for its precision and artistic symmetry, creates a striking visual texture that adds depth and beauty to the piece. The base is specifically designed to pair with the Corcelain square pot.
