Thank you! 💙💙🙏 Boost Stacking, Calibrated Desiccant Measuring Scoops - 125g, 250g, 500g This is a set of stacking calibrated desiccant measuring scoops for scooping and pouring several fixed charges of desiccant for dry boxes, and eliminates the guesswork of over or under estimating how much to use. If you print more than one size, they stack conveniently out of the way when not in use. Depending on the size of the storage box, I've included are 3 convenient measured amounts to choose from. I typically use 125g or 250g for single-spool dry boxes, the 250 for single-spool “cereal box” airtight storage especially if I don't want to have to recharge the desiccant very often, and the 1 or more 500g size for larger dry boxes like 4, 8, or 12 spool airtight boxes. The scoop helps keep you from over or under estimating how much desiccant you are using. Dip the scoop into your desiccant, give it a little shake to get rid of the overspill, then dump into your dry box. I spent a good bit of time and care to get the scoop volume just right for each size, carefully measuring the desiccant density and required volume for a very close result - within 1% or less. Note - how aggressively you shake off the overspill will affect the result a little bit. I was going for “close enough” and am actually pleasantly surprised just how accurate they are. They are calibrated for the rechargeable desiccant I use which is a 1:1 mix of Dry & Dry Blue color-changing and Dry & Dry non-color-changing clear. Should be good for Dry & Dry Orange color-changing and other brands, too. This is one of those tools that I didn't think I'd use as much as I do, but it turns out I use it way more than expected! Of course, it's not just for filament dry boxes. Use it for anything where you need a measured amount of desiccant or other similarly dense material, like for safes, clothes storage, etc, or anywhere you don't want to get too humid.
