This is a 3D-printed mobile storage cart designed for placement beside the living room sofa, next to the coffee table, and for everyday on-the-go organization. - Unlike fixed storage boxes, this cart can be freely moved around the living room, serving as both a side table by the sofa and a temporary storage station by the coffee table, allowing items to follow your habits rather than your furniture. - The entire structure is 3D-printed, including the swivel casters at the base, which are also designed to be printable—no need to purchase separate hardware wheels. The body is assembled from multiple perforated panels; the hole dimensions adhere to IKEA’s standard perforated panel specifications, ensuring compatibility with and expandability of various storage accessories, such as hanging boxes, pen holders, cable organizers, remote-control compartments, small hooks, and more. Users can customize it according to their specific living-room needs, turning it into a personalized storage solution that fits their lifestyle. - In terms of design, the cart features a multi-layered open-storage layout: the top shelf accommodates cups, tissues, smartphones, aromatherapy diffusers, or decorative trinkets; the middle tier is ideal for books, remotes, and charging devices; and the side perforated panels provide additional space for attaching external storage boxes and accessories, making full use of vertical space. It takes up minimal floor space while consolidating scattered small items in the living room, keeping the area around the sofa and coffee table neat and uncluttered. - For printing, PETG filament is recommended to achieve superior toughness and load-bearing performance. (The entire piece requires approximately 1.5 kg of filament.) The panels connect via simple slot joints; we recommend using glue to reinforce the assembly. When putting it together, please refer to the instructions in the sixth exploded view diagram and ensure the slots are oriented correctly—details are shown in the image below: As this item is still a 3D-printed plastic structure, it is not recommended for heavy loads. Instead, it is best suited for storing lightweight household items such as remotes, charging cables, books, tissues, snacks, and small decorative objects on a daily basis.
