INSTALLATION VIDEO /////UPDATE V5 - 10.05.2026 ///NEW TOP PART - K2_PLUS_CHAIN_RISER_TOP_V5 Due to issues reported by some users, I created a simpler version of the TOP part. This version does not use the arm, but I kept the ring around the tube to make sure it stays aligned with the extruder. The base remains the same. The 3MF file includes both versions. Just print the version you want to use. /////UPDATE V4 - 23.04.2026 ////CHANGES BASED ON V3 The base of the arm was raised by 3 mm. The internal geometry of the arm remains the same, so the tube path is unchanged, just cleaner. Everything now sits slightly higher. New washer. The thickness was reduced by 0.2 mm to create a bit of clearance. Top part redesigned. The neck was raised by 3 mm. Increased the external diameter of the ring that supports the arm on the top part. Since the arm base was raised, this adjustment keeps the same working radius. *IF YOU ARE USING ABS OR ASA TO PRINT THE PARTS, MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM THE SHRINKAGE PERCENTAGE BEFORE PRINTING. /////UPDATE V3 - 23.04.2026 ///ISSUE FOUND The arm sits too low and applies pressure on the PTFE tube connector. ///SOLUTION Raise the lower section without changing the working height of the arm.With these changes, I was able to increase the lower clearance by 1.6 mm. ///CHANGES MADE IN V3 ///TOP PART Raised the neck Increased the thickness of the tab that holds the chain. The ORIGINAL DXC2 PART A (debossed with A) showed deformation, so this area was reinforced to handle higher temperatures. This issue was identified by DreAgor. ///ARM Reduced the washer Reduced the thickness of the base that sits on the top part Reduced the height of the lower section below the washer /////UPDATE 20.04.2026 New arm with a larger radius. Increased to the maximum that still fits with the DXC2 and clears the frame. Top part neck reinforced. Now wider with two lower support tabs. Pressure washer reinforced. Wider and thicker for better stability. *Tested multiple times and everything worked as expected. (installation video) *Filament swaps with CFS were consistent with both ABS and PLA. *X and Y homing runs without any issues. ////NEW FILES K2_PLUS_CHAIN_RISER_DXC2_PTFE_ARM K2_PLUS_CHAIN_RISER_DXC2_TOP K2_PLUS_CHAIN_RISER_DXC2_ARM_WASHER ////SAME FILE K2_PLUS_CHAIN_RISER_DXC2_BASE ///CREALITY K2 PLUS CHAIN RISER [ORIGINAL AND DXC2 EXTRUDER] This design repositions the PTFE tube to avoid contact with the frame and keeps a consistent path during movement. The rotating arm allows better alignment and supports TPU use. Compatible with the original extruder and the DXC2 extruder. Designed for a simple and direct installation. ///WITH ORIGINAL EXTRUDERThis solves the issue when printing near the left and front limits. In those positions, the tube can rub against the frame and wear over time.I started seeing small white particles on the build plate, which turned out to be the tube degrading from contact with the frame. ///WITH DXC2 EXTRUDEROn top of that, the DXC2 raises the tube entry point.
