A universal extension tube for the Dyson handheld vacuum cleaner A universal extension tube with a slightly tapered inner diameter of 30 mm didn’t fit directly onto our Dyson DC43H Animalpro, and with either that tube or the included baseboard nozzle, I couldn’t easily reach the corners of the ceiling (I’m not very tall) when I wanted to vacuum up mosquitoes or dust bunnies from there. That’s why I developed an adapter tube to connect the Dyson to the existing crevice tool tube. The extension tube is about 20 cm long and, in my case, effectively adds 17 cm to the total length of the suction tube, bringing it to about 44 cm. So it’s super handy for vacuuming up spider webs and dust from hard-to-reach ceiling spots and corners. Although I’m using a “bed-swinging” Prusa MK4S printer, I had no trouble printing the tube in a vertical orientation (using an adhesion spray on the bed). People with a CoreXY printer will, of course, have absolutely no trouble printing it at all. Of course, the tube can also be used without the universal extension.
