With Bruce's blessing, I'm releasing the three front frame pieces that I changed to accept a metal barrel. Link to original model: Link to Moose Bite Used cutter to make barrel nuts from Misplaced Moose's bcar, Moose Bite. Will require 35 cm + length for attachment of your choice for the short body. And 50 cm + length needed for attachment of your choice for the long body. If I measured correctly, to use Moose Bite on Mantis Shrimp a 310 mm barrel for the short body and a 465 mm barrel for the long body will be needed. DISCLAIMER: THESE NUMBERS ARE BASED OFF MEASURMENTS IN CAD, I haven't personally done it, Moose Bite shown in pic was just for a visual. I've ran a 18 inch .527 ID barrel from OOD and was getting 285-300 pretty consistently with some newer xshot pro darts. Tossed a 45 cm .509 from etsy (the black powder coated barrel shown) and was consistently getting over 300+ fps, 318 was the highest. If you're going to run a .509 or 13 mm ID, I'd probably use the tpu pusher, the o-ring pusher is really snug. These numbers were three individual loops of 4mm, so there were three knots crammed in the back, and tied obscenely tight, like I got a blister on my pinky tight lol. I still tie them like Bruce, just a little tension, prime it then crank down on them. also added a negative to the butt plate in the slicer (see last pic) PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!. Also used the o-ring plunger head version. I followed Bruce's print settings, 3 walls & 20% infill.
