A simple enclosure for the Echo Show 5 gen 1 or 2 to dress it up a little while reducing the screen angle a little. This makes the Echo show much more usable as a bedside display. All features remain usable, but the slider for disabling the camera is a little difficult to actuate. You're unlikely to be switching this on and off often (particularly if your Echo is no longer running Fire OS), but it's worth mentioning! Printing Instructions - Material: PLA or PETG will work great. - Layer height: 0.2mm recommended - Supports: Not required - All other settings: Leave default! Orientation should be obvious! Assembly This should be fairly self explanatory - just drop your echo into the enclosure, and press the bezel onto the front, holding your echo in place. In the video, I laser cut a cork foot, but you can print in TPU, or use some stick on feet if you prefer!
