plant watering garden gadget tank wateringsystem

Beskrivelse

Model Overview This is a functional, one-part automatic plant watering spike designed for easy printing and instant use. It allows users to upcycle standard plastic beverage bottles into a slow-release root irrigation system. Because it is printed as a single solid piece, there is zero risk of leaks or weak joints. Key Design Features - Integrated Universal Threads : The top collar features pre-modeled internal threads designed to fit standard plastic bottle caps (e.g., PCO 1810 / 28mm soda and water bottles). - Reinforced Spike : A long, tapered conical stake that easily pierces into the soil, providing enough structural stability to support bottles up to 1.5 liters. - Optimized Drip Holes : Features a vertical row of five precisely modeled 2mm holes . This size provides a steady, reliable water flow and is large enough to resist clogging from fine soil particles. Recommended Print Settings - Orientation : Print upside down (wide threaded collar flat on the build plate). This provides excellent bed adhesion and completely eliminates the need for supports. - Material : PETG or ASA is highly recommended. (They are water, bacteria, and UV-resistant. Standard PLA will degrade quickly in wet soil). - Perimeters / Walls : Set to 3 or 4 perimeters . This ensures the hollow spike walls are 100% watertight, forcing water to exit only through the designated 2mm holes. - Infill : 25% to 35% (Gyroid or Grid pattern) to give the stake enough mechanical strength to withstand twisting into hard dirt. - Supports : None required. How to Use Guide - Prepare the Bottle : Fill a clean plastic beverage bottle with water. - Attach the Spike : Screw the 3D-printed watering spike firmly onto the bottle opening. - Insert Into Soil : Push the spike deep into the flower pot or garden soil next to your plant. - Create an Air Vent : Poke a tiny pinhole in the absolute bottom (now the top) of the plastic bottle. Crucial step: Without this vent hole, a vacuum will form and water will stop flowing!
