✨ RIBBON PHONE STAND ✨ I wanted to make a phone stand that looks interesting without making it complicated. That’s how Ribbon came together — a simple shape that looks like one continuous strip folded into a stand. It prints as one piece , with no assembly or extra hardware. Just a small, useful addition to your desk. 💚 📱 Simple Shape, Everyday Function The curved back supports your phone, and a small front lip helps keep it in place. I kept the lip low so it doesn’t get in the way of the screen. - 70 mm wide — with open sides for phones wider than the stand. - Low front lip — simple and continuous, with no cable cutout. - One-piece design — nothing to screw together or glue. The way your phone sits will depend a little on its thickness and case. If you want to adjust the width or shape, I’ve included a STEP file too. 🎨 One Color, Plenty of Character I kept the surfaces plain and let the curves do the work. There’s no need for multi-color printing — a single filament color is enough. Personally, I like this design in matte colors , but I’d love to see what you choose for yours. 🙂 📏 Dimensions Approximate dimensions when the stand is sitting upright: - Width: 70 mm - Depth: 98 mm - Height: 71 mm - Ribbon thickness: 4.8 mm 🖨 Printing Recommendations Print the stand on its side , with the flat side profile against the build plate. The STL is already positioned this way. Suggested starting settings: - Layer Height: 0.20 mm - Walls: 3 perimeters - Infill: 15–20% - Supports: None required in the supplied orientation - Orientation: On its side - Material: PLA or PETG Print time and filament use will depend on your settings. Once it’s printed, there’s nothing to assemble. 📂 Included Files - Ribbon_70.stl — ready to slice, already positioned for printing. - Ribbon_70.step — included for easy editing in your favorite CAD software .
