This is my DIY compact bartop arcade, built around an 8-inch display and a Raspberry Pi 3B+. The cabinet uses removable decorative panels, making it easy to change the artwork without rebuilding or reprinting the complete bartop. You can create several panel sets and swap them whenever you want a different theme. The version shown in the photos uses my custom red-and-black Neo Tokyo artwork. Hardware used - Raspberry Pi 3B+ - 8-inch display - Arcade joystick - 6 main arcade buttons - 2 side buttons - Speakers and amplifier - Removable artwork panels Printing and assembly The cabinet is made from several parts to make printing possible on my core One L. The removable side and decorative panels are held in place separately from the main structure, so they can be replaced without taking the whole cabinet apart. Print the structural parts with enough walls and infill to keep the cabinet rigid. The decorative panels can be printed with lighter settings, as they do not carry any significant load. Depending on your screen, buttons and electronics, some adjustments may be required. Check the dimensions of your own hardware before printing everything. Customization The removable panels can be: - Printed in different filament colors - Painted - Covered with printed vinyl - Decorated with stickers - Replaced with your own custom designs This project is meant to be customized, modified and adapted. Feel free to remix the panels, change the hardware layout or create your own artwork!
