Today, I have a 3d model of the iPhone Duo for you. As I've been working on a case for the Duo, I needed an accurate dummy to test it with. If you need to test your own case designs this model is for you. The shape, size, buttons, speaker holes, USB port and camera module are within spec. Some assembly is required, as well as adhesive and a couple of neodymium magnets. Enjoy Assembly 1. Prepare the model by removing the support material from the frames and if using the model with separate buttons, make sure there are no defeats or burrs 2. Begin by bringing the two frames together in the open position fit the hinge as shown, insert one side then slightly flex the hinge to fit the other side, be take care and don't close it just yet. 3. Dry fit the folding screen before to ensure the locating slots fit together. Insert the magnets and apply some adhesive avoiding the hinge area. Grab the folding screen and starting at one corner find the slot and press it in working your way round then close tight 4. Use adhesive to bond the front screen and back panel to the frame. Make sure the front screen is bonded to the frame with the USB port 5. Apply a little adhesive to the apple logo and flash part. The camera modules are press fitted, Insert the ring then the camera and lens, note there is a small lip on the camera rings. 6. Lastly fit the buttons (If you choose that print profile) and you are good to go. Note the buttons are press fit. Please consider the print profile without the separated buttons if this is intended for a small child.
