I designed a cute, flexi head Stormtrooper that uses springs made from simple filament, so you don’t need any hardware. These springs make this miniature flexible, playful, and fun to fidget with in your hands. Assembly Cut the spring aprx. 15mm Add some glue Assembly the parts Spring making device: !!!This design includes a spring-making device, allowing you to use any filament you have(PLA,PETG,ABS/ASA, PC) to fabricate your own springs. Make sure your filament is dry to prevent the springs from fracturing. You will need a gas lighter to preheat the spring after coiling it. This will help preserve the shape of the spring and give it much greater stiffness. Find here additional tutorial for this process:
