V2 – IMPROVED VERSION This is the improved V2 version of my Anycubic ACE2Pro Inlet Idler – Print-in-Place Filament Guide . The V2 design has been refined based on real-world use of the original version, with improvements focused on filament guidance, loading angle and overall feeding behavior. WHAT'S NEW IN V2 Larger Idler Roller V2 features a larger idler roller designed to provide improved filament guidance and smoother filament movement through the ACE2Pro inlet. Optimized Roller Position The roller position has been redesigned to improve the filament loading angle. This creates a more controlled filament path from the spool to the ACE2Pro inlet and helps keep the filament correctly aligned during feeding. Improved Filament Guidance The filament path has been refined to provide better alignment with the ACE2Pro inlet. The improved geometry helps reduce unwanted lateral filament movement during feeding and retraction. Filament Disconnect Endstop V2 introduces a mechanical endstop that helps control the filament position when the filament is disconnected or removed from the ACE2Pro inlet. Refined Design The overall geometry has been improved while keeping the original concept of a compact, easy-to-print and easy-to-install inlet idler. V2 VS ORIGINAL V2 keeps the successful concept of the original design while improving the areas that matter most during everyday use. V2 improvements: ✓ Larger idler roller ✓ Optimized filament loading angle ✓ Improved filament alignment ✓ Better filament guidance ✓ New filament disconnect endstop ✓ Refined mechanical geometry ✓ Improved filament feeding behavior ✓ Designed specifically for Anycubic ACE2Pro V2 is recommended for new prints. If you already printed the original version, it can still be used. FEATURES Print-in-place design The idler mechanism is designed for 3D printing without requiring additional bearings or complex assembly. Easy installation The design is intended to be installed directly on the Anycubic ACE2Pro filament inlet without permanent modification to the ACE2Pro. Improved filament path The redesigned roller position and filament guide help maintain a more controlled filament path between the spool and ACE2Pro. Real-world tested The V2 design has been tested on a real Anycubic ACE2Pro setup with multiple filament inputs. PRINTING Recommended materials: - ASA - ABS For best results, print the parts according to the provided print orientation and recommended print settings. Make sure the idler mechanism moves freely after printing. Remove any stringing or small residues that could interfere with the moving parts. INSTALLATION Install the V2 Inlet Idler on the ACE2Pro filament inlet and make sure the filament is correctly aligned with the roller and inlet path.
