Adjustable Counter Clamp Beaker Stand: This is an adjustable plastic beaker stand clamp that I designed to help securely hold tall cylindrical plastic beakers during testing and help prevent accidental spills, while still allowing the beakers to be easily removed for pouring the collected results onto a scale for weighing and then placed back into the holder. I use tall cylindrical beakers at work when testing the accuracy of infusion pumps, and their narrow shape can make them relatively easy to tip over, especially if the IV line is accidentally bumped or pulled. This design clamps directly onto the edge of a counter or work surface and provides adjustable support for the beaker, helping reduce the chance of accidental spills or ruined test results. The TPU grip holder can be installed in three different positions, allowing it to be moved if it obstructs your view of the beaker measurement markings. The stand is designed to fit common tall cylindrical plastic beakers, including 10 mL, 25 mL, 50 mL, and 100 mL sizes. Clamp Sizes: I have included two main clamp body sizes. 45 mm maximum clamp opening 55 mm maximum clamp opening The M5 screw is used to tighten the stand onto the edge of the counter or work surface. The usable clamping range can be changed depending on the length of the M5 screw used. A longer M5 screw can provide a greater clamping range. With the M5 x 50 mm screw used in my setup, the 45 mm clamp body can close from a maximum opening of 45 mm down to 30 mm. Materials Required: 3 x M3 x 8 mm screws 3 x M3 heat-set inserts, 4 mm 1 x M5 x 50 mm screw 2 x M5 nylon lock nuts 1 x M5 heat-set insert, 7 mm PLA filament TPU filament Tools Required: M3 Allen key M5 Allen key Soldering iron Super glue Print Settings: PLA and TPU 20% infill 0.16 mm layer height 0.4 mm nozzle diameter Assembly: Assembly instructions are shown in the included photos. I hope this design is useful and helps make working with tall cylindrical beakers a little easier.
