The flexible U-bend tether will bridge smoothly in mid-air without needing support material. - If you have smaller straw just scale the design (*0.9 = 9mm, *1.1= 11mm) - Dry Your TPU: Flexible filaments absorb moisture quickly. Dry your spool at 60°C for 4 to 6 hours before printing to eliminate stringing, surface blobs, and weak layer bonds. - Bed Release Agent: Apply a thin layer of glue stick or painter's tape on smooth PEI beds to avoid over-adhesion and damage when removing the finished print. - Fit Check: Verify your straw's outer diameter (standard is 10 mm). If the cap feels too loose or tight due to filament shrinkage, adjust your slicer's X/Y Hole Compensation by $\pm 0.1 \text{ mm}$. - Hygiene & Safety: Clean the printed cover thoroughly with warm, soapy water before first use. For long-term use, use food-contact compliant TPU or seal the internal cap surface with a food-grade epoxy.
