Overview This model connects a standard syringe to the prusa linear rail lubricant tube. This is different than the normal prusa lube, it's the one from the lubrication set (Microlube GL 261 20g). Which used to be the Prusa XL lubrication set, but looks like they renamed it since the core one came out. The newer lube set has a white 20g tube of lube instead of the black and yellow tube in the product photo. The instructions call for connecting the syringe to the tube of lube, but that doesn't work with the newer white tube. Hence this model. The syringe screw mechanism is called the Luer lock. This model is good enough to work with the Luer lock, but it doesn't implement the full spec. Build instructions - Print with PLA - 0.15mm layer height - Balanced profile - No supports needed It warns about bed adhesion issues but it stuck very well for me. I used elegoo pla with the stock Prusa PLA print profile. General Instructions - Put on gloves - Connect the adapter to the syringe - Squeeze air out of the tube of lube before connecting it, or you'll get some huge air pockets in the syringe. - Connect the adapter to the tube of lube - Squeeze the lube while pulling back on the syringe - Lube the linear rail(s). Just 0.1 ml per rail! - You can squirt the lube in the syringe back into the tube of lube when you're done to minimize waste There will be a little bit of lube left in the adapter when you're done.
