Multi-Functional Desktop Tablet Dock (All-in-One Desktop Tablet Dock) The number of devices on our desks keeps growing: tablets, smartphones, smartwatches, charging cables, water cups, pens, data cables… Every time we try to focus on work or study, the desk is cluttered with all sorts of items. Chargers are scattered everywhere, data cables tangled into knots, water cups have no fixed spot, and the tablet’s angle isn’t ideal—after a while, even your neck starts to ache. This model was born out of exactly such a usage scenario. Design Story One day, as usual, I sat down at my desk, ready to start the day’s work. The tablet was used for drawing and reviewing documents, my phone kept buzzing with notifications, my smartwatch was almost out of battery, and there was also a cup of coffee nearby. To charge these devices, several chargers were spread across the desk, data cables snaked haphazardly over the surface, and even finding a pen in the drawer took half a lifetime. I began to wonder: Why can’t we consolidate all the things we use every day into a single stand? And so, this multi-functional desktop tablet dock gradually started taking shape. It’s more than just a tablet stand—it aims to become the “control center” of your desk. A Single Stand That Organizes Your Entire Desk The design centers around the tablet stand, featuring an adjustable-angle mechanism that ensures a comfortable viewing position whether you’re watching TV, working, sketching, or reading. Surrounding the tablet, we’ve integrated several of the most frequently used functions: - Wireless charging for smartphones — 56mm wireless charger - Wireless charging for smartwatches — app swtich smartwatch wireless charger - Retractable cable organizer — located on the back; detailed specifications are provided in the assembly tutorial - Bluetooth speaker - RGB ambient lighting - Cup holder - Side drawer storage These features aren’t added just to pile up specs—they’re designed to meet the real needs of daily use. Once the tablet is placed, simply set your smartphone on the side to begin wireless charging; remove your smartwatch and set it directly onto its charging pad; pull out the retractable cable when needed, and let it automatically retract when not in use; store USB drives, earphones, data cables, spare Apple Pencil tips, SD cards, and other small items in the side drawer; and the cup holder on the right provides a dedicated space, eliminating worries about knocking over your drink and damaging devices. As a result, the entire desk becomes noticeably tidier. Why Stick with a 3D-Printed Model? The market offers plenty of tablet stands and numerous wireless charging bases. However, very few products allow users to tailor their setup precisely to their specific devices, desk dimensions, and personal habits—for example, adapting seamlessly to an iPad Air 5 or an 11-inch tablet. The greatest advantage of 3D printing lies in its ability to enable continuous optimization and upgrades. The entire model is designed with modularity in mind, making it easy to add new functional modules later—such as additional ports, different types of wireless charging units, or compatibility with various device sizes—thus extending the product’s lifespan significantly. This is also why I chose to design and share this model myself. It’s not about showing off technical prowess—it stems from the everyday need to organize and declutter your workspace. When you finish printing and arrange all your devices on the stand, I hope you’ll feel the same simple yet satisfying sense of order I experienced during the design process— the desk finally regains its cleanliness, each device finds its rightful place, and both work and life become smoother and more relaxed.
