I made this design because all the lever-action pin designs I could find used a screw for the lever, which I personally find unnecessary. This design only requires a spring and an ink cartridge—both of which are commonly available online or as part of ballpoint pens if you’re not interested in the writing aspect. It can still function as a fidget toy. I also provided a space where they can replace the ink cartridge with a printable component in the print files. The type of ink cartridge they work for this ballpoint pin is something like “Ballograf Ballpoint Pen Original Medium Refill.” However, I didn’t use this particular ink cartridge. If you just have an ink cartridge similar to this one, it should work.
