Have you hung something by a string and then realized it could have been a bit higher. Here is an easy adjustment device to shorten an already knotted string. With the notches on the “V's” facing away from you and the knurled knob in your right hand, create slack in the string and wrap it around the shaft with the first loop moving in the opposite direction of the notch. When at the correct height, push the coiled string down the barrel and into the “V's”. Make sure when you are done both strings and sitting in the notches. See all the pics if this is unclear.
