I present the Levitating Tap: a faucet that appears to float in mid-air while dispensing a stream of water…with no visible pipes! 💧⚡ Why is it SPECIAL? ✅ Stunning visual effect: The water ascends a transparent tube and cascades down the exterior, creating the illusion of magical levitation. ✅ Entirely 3D printed!: Including the water pump (yes, you read that right!). ✅ Designed for Bambu Lab: All materials (pump, motors, etc.) are available on their official website. No unusual compatibilities. ✅ Easy to assemble: Follow the detailed steps and you're done. 🎩 Who is it ideal for? Magicians and artists: Perfect for stages and shows. DIY enthusiasts: A functional project that will leave everyone speechless. 3D printing fans: Show off what your printer can achieve. 🔧 Materials and Assembly: Recommended filament: PETG (water-resistant and easy to print). 6 print beds: 3 for the enclosure (compatible even with the A1 Mini). 1 for the tap. 1 for the water pump. 1 optional: transparent PETG tube (although acrylic provides a better effect). 💡 Pro Tip: Use an acrylic tube for an even more realistic effect. Images 1- Insert the motor into the separator; this piece will isolate the motor from the water and secure the motor. 1.2 - Fasten with screws. 2- Insert the pin into the impeller spiral. 3- Insert the bearing into the top of the volute. 4- Pass the shaft through the bearing. 5- Close the volute with the other half and install the screws. 6- Insert the shaft coupling, noting that the motor shaft is 1.5mm and the pin shaft is 2mm; there is only one position. 7- Finally, screw the motor mount to the volute, aligning the motor and impeller shafts. (This bushing keeps the falling water inside and prevents splashing onto the motor.) 2- Connect the elbow to the pump outlet. 3- Place the pump and elbow in their corresponding support inside the enclosure. 4- Screw the elbow to the enclosure and insert the battery holder and connect the motor to the battery wires. 5- At this point you have two options: either glue the four tubes that come in the acrylic pack (12 x 10 x 40) or buy a 12 x 10 tube and cut it to 140, which is the height I used. 6- Connect one end of the tube to the elbow, put on the lid, and connect the diffuser to the other end of the tube. 7- Finally, connect the tip of the diffuser to the faucet spout and you're done!
