Printing Recommended settings: Layer height: 0.16–0.24 mm Walls: 3–5 Infill: 10–20% Material: PETG is recommended if you want a more functional watering can, though PLA can work well for decorative use Dial your filament! PA and Flow If you want to use it with water, print with enough walls and make sure your slicer settings are tuned for watertight prints. Depending on your printer and filament, you may also want to seal the inside after printing. To ensure your watering can is completely watertight, follow these simple steps: Print with watertight settings Use 3–5 perimeter walls. Set 4–6 top and bottom layers. Use 100% infill (recommended) or at least 20–30% for added strength. Inspect the print Check for any small holes or layer gaps, especially around the spout and the bottom. Seal the inside (recommended) Apply a thin coat of epoxy resin (food-safe if required) to the inside of the watering can. Slowly rotate the model while the epoxy cures to ensure even coverage.
