There's a huge gap at the front of the plunger tube, meant to help reduce sound when firing. However, that dead space will reduce performance for hobbyists that replace the main spring, etc. This is intended to fill in the gap without harming airflow. Once you've removed the plunger tube: -Carefully unclip the tube cap, and take care to not let the various springs and bits scatter. -Use snips or needle nose pliers to clip out the spring base plate. Use a file to clean up the remaining plastic. -Add the printed pieces in order, as pictured. The final piece (tube with extra bits) will lock everything in place. -You can add the springs and safety valves back if desired. Otherwise, add the cap and reassemble the blaster.
