Start with a full **Raw Umber** undercoat and allow it to dry completely. Next, lightly dry brush the orb with **Raw Umber** or **Pale Gold** to soften the harsh white appearance while still allowing the light to glow beautifully through the material. Finish by dry brushing **Pale Gold** over the moon, chain, and all raised edges to bring out the sculpted details. For the brightest highlights, apply a small amount of **White** first, then lightly blend over it with **Pale Gold**. I also used this technique on the orb to create a warmer, more natural illuminated effect. The goal is to achieve a hand-painted 3D printed finish with a subtle aged and weathered character, while maintaining a clean, modern appearance that complements both contemporary and traditional home décor.
