This minimalist Parthenon-inspired model, entirely white, reveals its secret once illuminated: a soft glow radiates from within, transforming the temple into a beacon of serenity. The interplay of light and shadow creates a timeless atmosphere a fusion of classical heritage and contemporary design. Ideal as a sculptural centerpiece or a subtle ambient light, the Temple of Light captures the purity of marble and the divine aura of sacred places. Technical Description – Temple of Light This model is entirely printed in matte PLA, with white chosen to enhance the aesthetics and highlight the Greek architectural spirit. The small “Flame” ornaments at the top of the roof are also printed in matte PLA, serving a purely decorative purpose to complement the temple’s design. ➡️ No AMS is required: the model is divided into separate parts, making it easy to print each element independently. ➡️ Optimized assembly tolerance: the roof can be safely removed if needed, preventing breakage during adjustments or handling. To ensure consistent and solid printing, the infill density has been calibrated to 8%, with Concentric patterns used for both solid and general infill structure. For best print quality, it is recommended to place the roof in a vertical orientation on the build plate. Creative Evolutions For makers who enjoy pushing their creativity further, this model can also be painted or weathered to highlight the architectural details and achieve a more realistic, aged effect, turning the minimalist temple into a lifelike historical piece. In its current form, the Temple of Light is designed as a minimalist interior decoration, meant to be placed on a sideboard or shelf, with the back side positioned against a wall (as shown in the reference images). This choice emphasizes the main façade and the soft light diffusion, while keeping the design elegant and subtle for modern interiors.
