A rabbit made of twisting vines. This is another project of mine in this style. Because of that, I know that some users may experience difficulties when printing it. I recommend treating this model as a benchmark for your printer and filaments. I printed it three times on the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon using Bambu PLA Ivory White, and each time it printed without problems. The only issues I encountered were related to minor design mistakes that I improved with each subsequent print. If you are unable to print this model successfully, it is not the model’s fault. As you can see in the photos, the model is printable. The problem is most likely related to your printer setup or configuration. Most common issues: • Insufficient bed adhesion Clean and degrease the build plate. You can also increase the bed temperature by a few to several degrees. • Stringing on the model Dry your filament. • Poor print quality Improve cooling by opening the printer door and reducing the print speed. Some SILK filaments can also cause problems. Certain types are more brittle, while others behave more sticky or “gooey.” This is due to the need for longer cooling time, which makes them less suitable for a model like this. The model is printed in a vertical position. All the vines were optimized for this orientation to minimize the need for supports. However, supports are still required. In the print profile I marked only the critical supports and manually added some of them. If you are not using the provided print profile, keep these settings in mind. After printing, the tools shown below will be useful for removing supports, smoothing potential imperfections, and using a small torch to remove any remaining strings on the model. Have fun
