Custom Rock Tumbler (3D Printed + Aluminum Frame) This is a custom-built rock tumbler designed using a combination of 3D-printed components, aluminum extrusion, and off-the-shelf hardware. The goal of this project was to create a clean, modular, and efficient alternative to traditional DIY tumblers. The design uses a belt-driven shaft system with a geared DC motor, allowing for controlled speeds in the ideal 40–60 RPM tumbling range. A combination of printed wheels (PLA or TPU) supports the drum. The frame is built from standard aluminum extrusion, making the design. Check out my YouTube Video Build Tutorial!
