For your enjoyment and entertainment, the Secrets of the Sovereign are presented before you. A crown jewel fit for a King, Queen, Prince, or Princess, yours to own, admire, and hide within it, your own secrets! The Sovereign’s Secret is a combination Lock Box that uses sliders to enter the combination. Each slider has 5 positions which are detented (You can feel them click into place), and the box can be customised to have anywhere from 0 to 8 sliders, giving the number of possible combinations as follows: 0 Sliders = 0 (always unlocked) 1 Slider = 5 Possible Combinations 2 Sliders = 25 Possible Combinations 3 Sliders = 125 Possible Combinations 4 Sliders = 625 Possible Combinations 5 Sliders = 3,125 Possible Combinations 6 Sliders = 15,625 Possible Combinations 7 Sliders = 78,125 Possible Combinations 8 Sliders = 390,625 Possible Combinations The Shell of the box has 8 rectangle holes to accommodate sliders, but if you want to have fewer sliders, simply cover the holes you don’t need with a decorative panel. Likewise the Core can accommodate 8 locks but you can leave unused spaces empty if desired. Once all the sliders are set in the correct position, the ring at the top can be rotated to open the satisfying 8 leaf mechanism on the top. All parts can be printed on the A1 Mini and colour changes can be achieved by setting a pause and swapping the filament manually. The model in the photos was made this way as I do not yet have an AMS myself 🙂 There are two theme options available for the decorative panels and two kinds of slider tops, large and small. Note that the “Big” slider tops go with the “Big” Slider Tool and the “Small” tops go with the “Small” slider tool. Some parts will require supports to print, but I have tried to keep the need for supports to a minimum. I use tree supports as I found they break away a bit easier, but do what works for you.
