Membership What to sell this lamp? Join Cyberpunk Meets Art Deco This lamp is my attempt at combining Cyberpunk and Art Deco styles to create something unusual and beautiful. The lamp is printed in multiple parts and assembled with glue, no need for AMS unless you want to mix it up a bit. The assembled lamp stands at 413 mm tall and 225 mm wide at the widest point. Despite the large size, all parts can be printed on the A1 Mini. Guidance: You will need to print 6 shade leaves and glue them into the shade top. This can be a little fiddly as the leaves have interlocking tabs. The interlocking tabs don't do much in terms of “locking” but they are a useful guide for positioning the leaves relative to one another. I found it easiest to place the shade top on a flat surface and ease the leaves in bit by bit until they are all fully inserted. The print orientation of the shade leaves in the print profile may seem suboptimal, and you'd be right to think that, however the reason for this orientation is so that the build plate surface is facing out when assembled. Feel free to flip it over if this aesthetic doesn't bother you. The Base, Coupling, and Lamp Holder can be stacked and glued together. Thread your USB lamp kit wire through the hole, switch and all, and sit the LED in the lamp holder. Gluing the LED in is optional, but once the diffuser is glued on, there is no longer access to the LED, so gluing it in might be a wise move. Glue the diffuser over the lamp holder before gluing the shade assembly onto the top of the diffuser. Plug in your LED kit and enjoy :) Future For larger printers, it might be possible to print the shade as a single part, instead of a 7 part assembly.
