Door holder for freestanding fireplaces

Boost Me (for free) Thanks for your support! Boost A little gadget for holding the fireplace door while filling the fireplace with wood (when it is cold of course) or while you clean the door. The spring is designed to protect the fireplace (lacquer). I have additionally added a self-adhesive felt pad (see pictures). You can use the holder for almost all fireplaces, because there is a spacer to adjust it for different door thicknesses. You always need the main body and then one of the different spacers. There are spacers for door thicknesses: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22mm if you use it without spacer. When you need for example 18,5mm, than you can use the 18mm spacer and scale it only in z-axis 0,5mm bigger. Use some glue once you have found the perfect spacer thickness. Be careful with the paint on the door! Don't make the holder too tight! I have used PETG. Ich have not test the spring with other materials.
